There is no such a thing as a bad lead

The automotive industry in 2025 clings to optimism against a background of great uncertainty. It faces an era marked by electrification, legislative changes, previously unheard-of brands and shifting consumer preferences. Amid these dynamics, every lead counts, or does it?
The Auto selling business frets about single-percentile fuel price rises, supply chain delays and the availability of microchips whilst, at the same time, overseeing an enormous leaking bucket of missed leads and lost revenue.
When customers research their dream car, configuring, comparing and generating mountains of buyer intent data they hit a wall when contacting sellers. Calls go unanswered, form submissions pile up in inboxes, and enquiries take days to answer. Things may improve going forward in 2025, but in 2024, to take one example, 15-20% of calls to dealers weren’t answered at all.
Today’s buyers expect more, especially when they’re buying an expensive item like a car. They want a car. They need a car. if you make it hard to buy they’ll simply go and buy it from someone else. They’ll probably buy their next car there too and are highly likely to give the experience a crappy Trustpilot rating.
In 2025 there are no excuses. All the data needed to provide excellent Customer Experiences can be accessed, analysed and personalised.
